Improvements needed

Football: A Fifa report says Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch’s stadiums all need improvements to floodlights and other facilities to host games for the 2023 Women’s World Cup. Dave Beeche worked with Fifa to run the 2015 Under-20 World cup in New Zealand. He says in Christchurch’s case, backup power supply is needed in case of an outage. New Zealand Football is due to meet Fifa later in the year.
