Operating since 1981, Tauranga Peugeot and Citroën are expanding under the new ownership of the Shorland family and will see a new combined dealership opening a second Peugeot and Citroën dealership in Rotorua.

The Tauranga dealership has always looked after the Bay of Plenty and they have done an exceptional job at building and maintaining both brands, even winning the “National Dealer of the Year” title for their Peugeot expertise, not once, not twice, but five times. This is certainly a level of operation that will be maintained under the new ownership of the Shorland family.

There will be little change in the Tauranga dealership and the same friendly and experienced team will be onsite to assist with sales and servicing. The only new face will be that of the Dealer Principle, as Tony Shorland took over from Sandy Hay on the 1st of April of this year. The only other change will be the name change from Tauranga Peugeot and Citroën to Shorland Peugeot and Citroën. The new owners would like to acknowledge the fantastic job that Sandy, Jacqui and the late John Hayes and the team at Tauranga Peugeot & Citroën have done over the many years and look forward to carrying on the great work in sales and customer service.

The family owned and operated business will continue to be strongly committed to the Peugeot and Citroën Brands in Tauranga and will carry the same level of commitment into the new Rotorua Peugeot and Citroën dealership.
