LATER DELIVERY

As a reader of South Taranaki Star you would have noticed a later delivery time in the past couple of weeks. We have recently changed our delivery contractor, and part of our national delivery agreement allows deliveries to be completed by Thursday night. If after this time you have not received a copy, please ring the Call Centre on (06) 759-0810 or email newspaper.sales@dailynews.co.nz Friday morning and the query will be logged with our delivery contractor to urgently resolve for the following week. We understand that the delivery time change maybe an inconvenience to some, but it is part of our ongoing commitment to continue to deliver a great read.

BOWLS SCHOOL

A Taranaki bowls school of excellence has been reestablished for the new season. The school is designed to give promising players the ability to develop their game across a wide spectrum of the game, including technical, tactical, mental skills, nutrition and planning. It is being run by tWest End on behalf of the Taranaki centre, and the players including Hawera’s Hazel Schwartfeger and Frances Busby, have been selected after consultation with the representative selectors.
