High School Spoofical is nearly ready for its first performance on Saturday, March 31 at The Kensington Theatre, Putaruru.

It involves 57 students aged between 9 and 17 years from Putaruru and Tokoroa primary schools and also college students from Putaruru, Matamata, Cambridge and John Paul in Rotorua.

The production is unusual in that the students have been taking part in nearly all aspects of the show.

Choreography was arranged by students Briana Carter and Katie Lyttle. Fraser Bain, 12, and Sam Crosbie, 10, from Te Waotu School are lighting managers. Sound and visual effects manager is college student Leigh Gallyer.

All the cast members have been busy promoting the show, selling tickets to family and friends. Come along to The Kensington Theatre to support South Waikato young people for a performance of wholesome family entertainment with catchy tunes and a good laugh. Tickets available at Van Dyks.
