Pio speaks to parents

Comedian Pio Terei will be making a stop in Tokoroa to talk to parents about how to pull together to build strong families, strong children and strong communities.

His show is set to be a laugh- out- loud informative evening.

Pio will talk about different styles of parenting, like the ‘‘jellyfish style’’, the ‘‘ military style’’, and ‘‘ the negotiator’’, and wider philosophies like looking after one another, manaakitanga ( hospitality and kindness) and aroha.

The Parenting Show with Pio will be held on Wednesday, August 1 at Te Wananga O Aotearoa, starting at 6pm, entry is by gold coin donation.
