Mooloos v HB at Memorial Park

Waikato will start their 2012 preseason rugby campaign next week when they take on Hawke’s Bay in Tokoroa on Thursday.

Kick-off for the match is 3.30pm at Memorial Park and will be hosted by the Southern United Rugby Football Club.

Community engagement activities throughout Tokoroa are planned prior to the game to get the town into the Mooloo spirit.

There will be a Red, Yellow and Black window dressing competition for businesses in the town and the main street will be decked out with Waikato banners and balloons.

Waikato players will be visiting several Tokoroa schools between 11am and 1pm and a curtain-raiser between the first XVs of Forest View High School and Tokoroa High School will be played at Memorial Park before the main game (1.30pm kick-off).

Pedestrian entry into the ground on match day will be free and car parking will be $2, however it will be free if you are wearing your Red, Yellow and Black Waikato colours
