New role at Sport Waikato starts
You might notice that Heather has now finished at Sport Waikato and I have begun my role as district co-ordinator.
I have lived in the South Waikato for 21 years and farm at Okoroire with my husband Ross; we have two children who are both heavily involved with sport, especially golf and basketball.
My previous job was sports coordinator for the Putaruru Schools Cluster working closely with Sport Waikato. I play tennis and netball and enjoy the fantastic walks around the area. I am looking forward to meeting you all, so feel free to pop into our office on Swanston St in Tokoroa.
The annual Tokoroa Schools Interschool Cross-Country is taking place next Tuesday, September 18 at Strathmore Park with the first race at 10.45am.
Wednesday, September 12 – A toddler and preschooler movement workshop is being held at SWPICS on Maraetai Rd, at 10.30am. For further information contact Madeleine Kirk on 07 858 5388, or to register phone the office 886 9002.
