Heartfelt thanks

I would like to sincerely thank Charmaine Donaldson, Matamata Heart Health Group and Joy Morgan, Tokoroa and District Lions Club and their team of volunteers for their support of the Heart Foundation Heart Week Appeal, February 11 -17. They did a fantastic job of co-ordinating and ‘‘manning’’ sites in Putaruru and Tokoroa. Also, many thanks to the people in the community who donated to our appeal.

Heart Week is such an important occasion for us, not only for fundraising but for showing the public the important work that the Heart Foundation does to prevent premature deaths from heart disease.

The donations received from Heart Week allow us to carry on our work with research, cardiac rehabilitation, health promotion and involvement with schools and early childhood education centres.

With healthy hearts we can fulfil a lifetime.
