Opportunit­y to learn about strapping

Strapping course, Monday, April 8, 7pm at the Tokoroa Physiother­apy Clinic, 77 Bridge St. Cost for the course is $20 which covers the cost of materials. This handson session is aimed at coaches, managers, administra­tors and sportspeop­le. Registrati­ons are essential and places are limited so be in quick! Look out for Taki and Lee taking photos of people energising in the area. They will snap a photo of you and if it appears in next week’s paper you will win a prize from one of the many sponsors helping out. Congratula­tions to this week’s winner who was spotted out walking.

Host Lions Charity Ball & Auction

It’s the Tokoroa Host Lions Charity Ball & Auction supporting the South Waikato Sport & Events Centre

At the Sport & Events Centre, Saturday, April 6 from 7pm Dress is formal Tickets are $100 per person and available from Classic Hits and Morrisseys. They include compliment­ary glass of bubbles and canapes on arrival, supper and fantastic entertainm­ent. Cash bar and eftpos available. This will be a fantastic event, get a group together and come along and enjoy the night.

Active and Well – Takeaways Workshop

Pricey and Mandy will be running a workshop this Thursday at 1pm. This workshop will highlight how much fat is in our takeaways. This is a free workshop and everyone is welcome. Come along and visit our new building and join in the workshop.
