Absence means no fitness class held this week

Mandy has taken a few days off so there will be no classes this week, classes resume on April 28 with a circuit class at 9.30am, and Kettlebell­s at 6pm. Mandy has 10 classes a week and they are all $4. Pop into 43 Swanston Street to get a timetable or contact Mandy on 021 246 3205. Putaruru Holiday Programme Kiwisport are running three days in Putaruru during the school holidays. These days provide a great way to learn some new skills and improve existing skills.

Thursday April 24 from 10am – 12noon Jamie will be running a hockey programme at Glenshea Park – to register contact Jamie 027 270 9049 or hockey@kiwisportw­aikato.org.nz. This day is free just bring a water bottle.

Tuesday April 29 from 10am - 12noon badminton with Amy at the Putaruru Sports Stadium. Cost $3 – bring a drink bottle. To register contact Amy 021 816 932 or email badminton@kiwisportw­aikato.org.nz.

Kiwisport bike, 10am – 12noon, Thursday May 1 on the new Putaruru Primary School bike track. Bring a bike, helmet, shoes and a drink – some bikes supplied. To register contact amy on 027 213 5147 or email amy.burndred@bikenz.org.nz. If you do miss registerin­g feel free to turn up on the day. Rangiura Golf Tournament Sunday May 4 from 9am at the Putaruru Golf Course. Entry fee is $25 per person which covers the 18 hole course. Prizegivin­g and auction held at the end of the day. All proceeds to the new hospital extension. Tokoroa Winter Tennis The Tokoroa tennis club will be running winter tennis on Wednesday afternoons from 1 to 3pm.
