Co-ordinator – South Waikato District Sport Maker – Nominate a Sporting Volunteer

Congratulations to all our sporting volunteers who received prizes this month from Sport NZ and Lotto as part of the Sport Maker programme – Chris Waea, Lois Hosking, Albert Cowley, Maria Te Kanawa, Cathy Haumaha and Nikki Tai.

This is a great programme initiated by Sport Waikato to reward volunteers, or Sport Makers, in our community.

This is an opportunity for you to nominate volunteers now; from the coaches and officials, to the uniform washers and administrators, a Sport Maker is someone who volunteers their time and effort for sport in the Waikato region. Nominate the Sport Maker that makes a difference in your sport by clicking on the link below.

All nominees go in the monthly draw for the chance to receive some awesome sporting gear. Take the time to nominate and reward a local Sport Maker who helps you and your sport. sportwaikato.org.nz/ 2014 Trail Trilogy Walk one is this weekend – Sport Waikato and the Hauraki Rail Trail are having some fun run/ walks over three months, starting with Tirohia to Te Aroha (14km), on Sunday August 20 from Waihi to Paeroa (21.6km) and finally Paeroa to Thames on September 21.
