A day to enjoy
Despite a few gusts of wind, the weather more than showed up for the inaugural Waitangi Day concert held in Tokoroa.
The Signing, hosted by the Youth Leadership Advisory Board, brought children, musicians, adults and community groups together at the Youth Park on Friday to celebrate the town’s cultural diversity and the meaning of Waitangi Day.
Josiah Teokotai was the event MC while local performers hit the stage to entertain the growing audience.
