South Waikato News - - Conversations - H. Lodge, Tokoroa

It makes me angry when politicians try to get kudos from something they or their party has no input in what so ever.

A perfect example of this is the story on page 5 of the South Waikato News (April 13).

Simon Bridges and Blondie Upston at the opening of the 11 million dollar expansion of Blue Pacific Minerals new plant in Tokoroa.

They are trying to take some glory from themselves, but in reality the National Government has done nothing to assist in the negations or help or in getting this thing off the ground.

All that work was done by the management of the company and the South Waikato District Council. The coming together of these two was the main factor to the success and nothing to do with the National Government, for everyone knows they don’t care about the rural towns.
