So we said goodbye to our Tokoroa office last week.

I know a lot of you have mixed feelings about it - as do we.

Many wonderful journalists have found their feet in that office and have told some powerful and important stories.

Those reporters spent many of their nights hunched over their computers working tirelessly to tell South Waikato stories - your stories. And that isn’t going to change. The only difference is, they won’t be doing it from an old, no longer fit for purpose, office.

Instead Luke will be working remotely- giving him more time actually out in the community, instead of stuck behind a desk.

Next week you’ll find him at the Sweet Rose Cafe on Wednesday, from 9am till 10.30am.

So drop in and say hi. I’m sure he’d love to see you.
