Ded­i­ca­tion of Cus­tomer Ser­vice Team awarded

Good cus­tomer ser­vice goes a long way and that phi­los­o­phy has been mas­tered by the South Waikato Dis­trict Coun­cil’s Pu­taruru Cus­tomer Ser­vices Team.

The Pu­taruru Cus­tomer Ser­vices Team re­ceived the Ser­vice to the Com­mu­nity award at the Pu­taruru Busi­ness Awards re­cently.

The team was up against 16 oth­ers and four fi­nal­ists.

The coun­cil’s com­mu­nity group man­ager Sam Mar­shall said it was good to see the hard work of the team recog­nised.

‘‘It’s re­ally pleas­ing to hear that the Pu­taruru Cus­tomer Ser­vices Team has been recog­nised for their ser­vice role in the com­mu­nity,’’ he said.

the con­text of busi­ness awards and the coun­cil is of­ten con­sid­ered to be out­side the tra­di­tional busi­ness world.’’

Mar­shall com­mended the team on its ‘‘well-de­served ac­co­lade’’, ac­knowl­edg­ing their sense of achieve­ment and their com­mit­ment to pro­vid­ing the high­est lev­els of ser­vice to the com­mu­nity.

Chief ex­ec­u­tive Craig Hobbs also ex­pressed his sup­port.

‘‘I was very proud of the team. It is fan­tas­tic that the com­mu­nity recog­nises the great work they all do,’’ he said.
