High tea a right royal occasion

Residents and friends at Maryann Rest Home and Hospital enjoyed a high tea on Monday, June 4 to celebrate the Queen’s birthday. Activities coordinator Andrea Walker says she and Maree Perrett, activities assistant at Maryann, are both thrilled with how the high tea went, with all residents enjoying the celebrations. Andrea says it was just one of many events throughout the year residents enjoy.

Arthur and Enid Schmidt had a second reason to celebrate on the day, as the couple were also celebrating 70 years of marriage.

Residents from the Maryann Village were among those who came and enjoyed the high tea in the main dining room.
