Help put sport in public eye

Does your club want its sports reports published?

The Stratford Press welcomes sports copy and encourages local teams and clubs to email their sports reports to alyssa. smith@nzme.co.nz

Keep your report or results brief and please check spelling of all names. When putting your report together please use “and” not &. Dates should be written as July 1, 2020 and numbers one to nine should always be spelled out one, two etc, except in scores. Sports reports may be edited for style and length. Photographs are also encouraged with clear captions identifying who is in the picture and what they are doing.

Ideally, reports need to be sent in before 9am on a Monday. While we will endeavour to publish all reports as they are sent in, placement is subject to space availability.
