Willis qualifies

Nick Willis has nailed qualification for the Athletics World Championships with a slick season’s-best run in Europe. A two-time Olympic medallist, the Kiwi 1500m veteran clocked 3m 34.74s at the Diamond League meet in Monaco yesterday. While the time was only good enough for 10th among a world class field, it was comfortably under the Athletics New Zealand A standard for the event of 3:36.00.
