Going to be a dad This is for her

-

I always think of my daughter too. I have been dreaming of her over the last week and when I’m in that ring I’m wanting to do this for her. She’s often my last thought before the opening bell sounds.’

have prepared 100 per cent, then you have no doubts. I have no doubts. Nothing has held us back this time.

It’s been interesting to hear Joshua firing a few shots in the media over the last week, calling me ‘‘weird’’ and dissing my team’s tactics. I don’t care what he thinks of me or this chitter-chatter. If his team talks crap, that doesn’t bother me. I know what my focus is.

I’m sure the main press conference in London on Wednesday (NZ Time) will be interesting.

But I’m looking forward to getting to Cardiff. Everything is flowing nicely at the moment, we’ve hit the ground running in London and everything is on target. But when we get to the fight city everything is going to feel even more real and closer.

I think we will have our share of support there. It’s a rugby city after all and we are KiwiSamoans. I know it’s Great Britain but maybe a few Welsh will favour us over an Englishman too?

I like the thought of fighting at the home of Welsh rugby. It makes me want to go and show Britain and the world that we are a great region who can produce great boxers as well as great rugby players.
