Listen up to get your life in order

- Katy Atkin

If you feel like your January hasn’t really gone to plan (resolutions, what resolutions?), there are some newly released podcasts that could help.

If you started the year trying to get fit and wishing you were better with money then let the Life Kit podcasts from NPR, assist you with both.

There are four podcasts in the Life Kit family.

Two feature money and personal finance and two look at health and exercise.

The aim is to help you navigate life’s big and small challenges, and these are a mustlisten if you’re keen to make a change but not sure where to start.

The exercise series is an easy listen and the ultimate exercise hack – in less than one hour, you’ll be ready to work out.

The Find Money You Didn’t Know You Had episodes were a real eye-opener, and offered simple strategies to help you free up money to spend on the stuff you really want.

There are more Life Kits to come this month as a series on parenting is in the works.

If you already have money and fitness locked down, then give your mental health a check with Happy Place.

Presented by BBC alumni Fearne Cotton, each week there’s a well-known guest who talks about their journey navigating mental health and wellbeing.

This one is centred in British culture but the themes are universal and the conversations are honest and no-nonsense.

Start with the great episodes featuring Dawn French and Stephen Fry.
