A fresh approach to city living

The impeccably designed SugarTree complex combines the benefits of ultra-convenient city living with the atmosphere of an urban oasis. Linda Miller takes a look at what’s on offer in Altro – the third and final stage of this city fringe development.

Buyers at SugarTree receive so much more than just an attractive and modern apartment in a prime location, they also immediately become part of an urban village the likes of which has never before been seen in New Zealand’s property landscape.

SugarTree offers the ultimate place to live, work, play and relax, with a total of 684 apartments positioned above mixed-use ground floor premises. This places boutique shopping, bars, eateries, retail and commercial spaces all literally on your doorstep and ensures a lifestyle of ease and comfort that is on par with what you would experience in the world’s most forwardthinking metropolises.

Construction is well underway on stage two of the development (Centro) and the recently released plans for the 13 storey Altro tower clearly demonstrate that the third and final stage really will be the icing on top of the cake for this innovative complex!

Altro will consist of 288 premium apartments ranging from one bedroom to three bedrooms and demand is proving to be fierce, with more than half already sold off the plans.

Two of Altro’s most appealing features are its proximity to the development’s largest green space – which is around the size of a football field and sits between Altro and Centro, and the 400 square metre rooftop terrace which will be open to all SugarTree residents and their guests. The 13th floor terrace will also boast an on-site café and bar – so you can choose to enjoy the morning breeze with a cup of coffee, or sit back and watch the sun set beyond the Auckland Harbour Bridge with a glass of wine in hand.

“Altro owners will be able to just walk out the door of their apartment and take the lift up to 270-degree views from the rooftop lounge,” managing director Darren Brown says.

SugarTree’s residents come from all walks of life and many will be owner-occupiers, including first home buyers who have accessed their KiwiSaver funds.

All apartments are built to the same high standard and prospective buyers have the opportunity to view not only the concept models and drawings in the show suite, but also a completed Prima apartment where they can experience the vision brought to life.

“Being able to come into stage one of SugarTree and see the real product, exactly what’s being built, ‘de-risks’ the process for home buyers,” Darren explains.

Act now to secure your future. Construction of Altro is due to begin in early 2017 and completion is forecast for 2019.
