Brent Eccles has been busy. The veteran music promoter has dusted off his Clash of the Titans triple-header for another summer tour (Petone, Riwaka, Coroglen, Mt Maunganui, Mangawhai, Auckland, Havelock North), this time with Dragon (or what’s left of them), Mi-Sex and the Feelers. He’s also announced this year’s 12-stop Winery Tour, which he operates in conjunction with office mate Campbell Smith, and features Brooke Fraser, Benny Tipene and Bic Runga, who will win a lifetime achievement award at this year’s Vodafone Music Awards. Tickets for the Winery Tour are $69 if bought before the end of November. The former is a guaranteed slice of pub-rock energy, the latter one of the most relaxed gigs you can find on the summer calendar.
