Stab charges

A man has been stabbed in the neck after confronting two motorists who were performing "burnouts" in New Plymouth on Friday night, police say. A 23-year-old man appeared in New Plymouth District Court yesterday charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and a 17-year-old woman faced charges of being an accessory after the fact.
