Right to death

If we are the secular and democratic society we espouse, then it is an unacceptab­le tyranny for one section of society to dominate and regulate the rest.

With the safeguard that a person who seeks to die must choose to do so, humanely with relatives present, it must not be left to the narrow-minded enforcers, be they Catholic or anything else, to control the rest of us.

We trumpet in our PC way that we respect everyone. But the antieuthan­asia lobby do all they can to deny the rights of many.
