Is there anyone else’s project you’re keen to endorse or promote?

My friend Tom just opened up a coffee cart in Dunedin called Hussey and Laredo. They’re by the uni there on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Only work hospo as a last resort.

Which living person do you most admire and why?

My nana, because she’s still partying in Vegas when she can and always helping her community.

What’s your most embarrassing moment that you’re prepared to share?

I accidentally smashed a water jug all over a table of customers when I worked as a waiter.

What are you reading right now?

I’ve been half way through Just Kids by Patti Smith for a long time and am determined to finish it on this tour.

Listening to?

Jay Som. Slowdive. Alex G’s new song.

What job would you do other than your own and why?

I’d walk dogs for people, ‘cause I like dogs and need the exercise.

What’s exciting you at the moment?

Going to London.

What’s freaking you out?

Thirty hours of flying to London.

What are you most looking forward to?
