TheTe Ana Rock Centre has a gallery of rock art and there are immersive guided tours available to visitors.

Talk a walk past an old lighthouse to Timaru's Dashing Rocks which feature unique geometric shapes formed by ancient lava flows.

Soaking in all that history will require refuelling. For a classy option try Hector Black’s, a stylish lounge bar situated in a beautiful heritage building. On the corner of George and Stafford Street you’ll find The Oxford, which serves up classic bistro-style fare.

will require a national attitude change.

Yes, electric vehicles will be part of the solution, but so will higher-density housing, public transport that has a greater selection of routes, improvements in agricultural practices, and us all making sure we re-use, repair and recycle.

Tiger Woods has done a Donald

Trump by winning last time only to lose badly this year.

Woods won the US Golf Masters last year but this time he sent three shots into the water on the same hole to record his worst ever par three.

Since Trump’s time is up, is it also time for Woods to retire this year from all golf and leave golf to Trump, who played golf for five days in a row while disputing his election loss?

Perhaps Woods should go into US politics instead. So after very big losses following previous wins, maybe the two should swap jobs.
