Trampled by stock

An elderly man was airlifted to hospital after being trampled by stock. The man, in his 80s, was picked up from a rural Horowhenua property north of Foxton, late yesterday morning, Palmerston North rescue helicopter pilot Lance Burns said. The man was in a critical condition, a Palmerston North Hospital spokesman said.
