Rocanto waiting

Group One performer Rocanto is marking time until the end of the winter. ‘‘He’s good and he’ll be ready to go again when the tracks come right,’’ trainer Stephen Marsh said. Placed in the Diamond Stakes and the Manawatu Sires’ Produce Stakes at two, Rocanto has been a winner this season and was third in the Listed Northland Breeders’ Stakes. He finished runner-up at Trentham in January before he was turned out after suffering a leg injury.
