Former Kiwis rugby league forward Frank-Paul Nu’uausala has got himself into trouble just two games into his stint with the Wigan Warriors, receiving a onematch ban for punching an opponent. As a result, he will miss his side’s Challenge Cup semifinal against Hull this weekend, with the incident taking place during Wigan’s loss to St Helens in Super League last Friday. He was sinbinned for the punch at the time, but denied the charge when he appeared before the Rugby Football League’s disciplinary tribunal. The panel found him guilty, though Wigan could contest the verdict, with a possible appeal to be heard today.
