40 years service
Two members of Taranaki football clubs were rewarded for forty years of continuous service to senior club football at the Taranaki football prizegiving on Saturday night. Wayne Nowell of Hawera and Henry Naus of Inglewood were each given credit for their dedication and loyalty to their respective clubs. Nowell has held a number of positions with the Hawera club over his time, including coach, manager, player president, secretary and bar manager. Naus has also done his share for his club, from being a player to coach to active committee member. Peter Mihaleijech was also rewarded for his 30 years of service to the Hawera club on the night.
