Jimmy’s heroics

Former Hurricanes and Blues first five-eighth Jimmy Gopperth kicked a conversion at the death to secure a 20-20 draw for his English club rugby side Wasps against Toulouse. Wasps No 8 Nathan Hughes had scored in the corner and Gopperth, who was playing fullback, slotted the conversion from the sideline with a minute to go, to level their European Champions Cup match at Toulouse. The 33-year-old Gopperth kicked two conversions and a penalty in the stalemate, where both sides scored two tries each.
