But he gives all the more grace; therefore it says, ‘‘God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.’’ Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:6-7

Grace; the favour of God, if we needed anything we need God’s favour. Humility draws his favour buts it’s counter intuitive. Fantastic accomplishments, the accumulation of wealth, and status in the community mean little to God. Rather favour comes with an attitude that asks for his help, and a conscious decision to resist temptation.
