Adams joins Ferns

The White Ferns have enlisted some high-profile assistance, with former Black Caps seamer Andre Adams joining their ranks as bowling coach. Adams, who retired in 2015, has worked as a resource coach for Auckland Cricket over the past two seasons and said he was honoured to join Haidee Tiffen’s coaching staff for their series against Pakistan in the UAE. ‘‘Working with the White Ferns is a really exciting step for me in my development as a coach,’’ Adams said. The White Ferns play Pakistan in three oneday internationals and four Twenty20 internationals in Sharjah over three weeks, with the first match on October 31.
