Michael Venus and Ryan Harrison have qualified for the semifinals of the ATP Finals, winning their second match yesterday. Venus and Harrison defeated Nicholas Mahut and Pierre-Hugues Hubert 6-7 6-4 10-5, for their second victory in the pool stage. Those two victories mean that even though they still have to play against Julien Rojer and Horia Tecau in a couple of days’ time, they have already qualified for the knockout stages of the lucrative season ending tournament at the O2 Arena in London. The victories mean Venus has already earned $NZ100,000 from his time at the tournament and it takes his prize money for the year to $NZ873,000.
