For more than 20 years, husband-and-wife team Gary and Colleen have worked hard to build this enviable lifestyle and now a new owner can enjoy the benefits of their labour.

The business, which is being offered as a going concern, is the Taranaki Paint Shop at 471 St Aubyn St. Next door is a hairdresser shop, which is leased until 2024. The house which Gary and Colleen own is behind the St Aubyn St building, at 14 Rainsford St.

The vendors have never been short of energy, and have added significant extensions to both properties; but as Gary says, ‘’We’re not getting any younger’’, and they are planning to retire.

They have subdivided the property so that the commercial and residential properties both have their own titles.

Prospective buyers have the luxury of choice. There are three bedrooms, two of which are large and spacious, but Colleen and Gary like natural light and all have had extra large windows added which create exactly the effect they wanted.

There’s another room which could be a fourth bedroom, a second lounge or an office. Again, that is a choice anyone buying the property will have the luxury of making.
