Quad bike crash

Two people were injured in a quad bike crash in coastal Taranaki on Friday night. A police central communications spokeswoman said emergency services were called to the scene, on private land off Newall Rd, Warea, about 11.15pm. A quad bike had crashed into a fence. A St John spokeswoman said two patients, one with minor injuries and one with moderate injuries, were taken to Taranaki Base Hospital.
