Fire at McKechnie

Four people were taken to hospital after fighting a fire at an aluminium company in North Taranaki. New Plymouth senior station officer Blake Marston said firefighters were called to McKechnie Transforming Aluminium on Paraite Rd, Bell Block, about 4.45am. As a result of fighting the fire, four people were taken to hospital as a precaution, Marston said.
