Two car fires

Fire and Emergency New Zealand attended two car fires in South Taranaki. The first was on Onewhaia Rd in Normanby at 6.40pm on Friday, which was attended by the Ha¯wera brigade, a fire spokesperson said. ‘‘It appeared to be an abandoned vehicle,’’ the spokesperson said. The second car fire was on Boylan Rd, north of Normanby, just before 10pm. The Eltham brigade attended.
