(Don’t) Carry on Camping
Great to hear the feedback from the residents in Fitzroy over the no self-contained freedom campers. They said no to the bylaw proposal, and that non self-contained campers should be required to stay in the licensed camping grounds that are plentiful in Taranaki.
Also interesting to see how quick the freedom campers have moved back into the restricted area at Waiwhakaiho after the ban expired on October 31.
The council better hurry up on its decision before the area gets crowded out again, blocking toilets and drains.
The clear message is the business area and reserve are not free camping grounds.
