Apprentices battle it out for top spot

New Zealand’s top 10 carpentry apprentices will be putting their skills to the test when they undertake a six-hour practical challenge today. Among those competing to become the Registered Master Builders CARTERS 2018 Apprentice of the Year is New Plymouth apprentice Corbin Mills, 22, who works for B D Hill Building. Ten regional winners will be competing for the title at the event, being held at the ASB showgrounds between 8am and 1pm. The winner will be announced this evening at a gala dinner.
