Where were you for Christmas and with who?

Piha! Spent with close family and friends.

Now Christmas is out of the way, what have you got planned for the summer?

After recent connection with (and purchase in) Piha, I’ll be living the dream, and balance, of living in a local beach community, with frequent time spent in the city and international travel – it’s a great recipe and to me, this balance is my happy place – it makes me appreciate every aspect.

What will you be wearing this summer?

Hopefully not much – in the ocean at Piha! With a strong range of summer products in Huffer featuring linen, which is perfect for long, hot summer days, and attire that works both in and out of the water.

What are a couple of favourite pieces from your collection and why?

While we have great summery pieces in the range, the New Zealand summer is also a busy international travel period for me, so the Super Down product is key in surviving the Northern Hemisphere elements.

What’s your favourite colour for clothing this season?

The colour blue, but applied in vertical stripes with a white base.

What was the last item of clothing/ accessory you bought?

New Retrosuperfuture optical frames, which was a big call – you don’t buy frames every day, but they are such a personal purchase.

Do you have any New Year resolutions/ goals/plans for the year ahead?

With exciting opportunities ahead for Huffer it will bring more aspirational travel and development in new markets, so I can live that balance of lifestyle – morning walks on Piha beach, not passing another soul – to landing in a mega city like Hong Kong, surrounded by a cultural hub of streetwear.
