Where were you for Christmas and with who?

It was a big day! I have a very large family that is very committed to a good celebration. the day started at my parents-in-laws’ house, moved to my parents’ house, on to my uncle and aunt’s and then ended with friends at our apartment.

Now Christmas is out of the way, what have you got planned for the summer?

I’m taking a couple of weeks off from the end of January and will be celebrating Waitangi Day in Waitangi for the first time.

What will you be wearing this summer?

My 100 per cent favourite thing about summer dressing is the concept of the night look: when you’re on holiday, there is always that time of day when you notice that you want to brush your hair, or maybe put on a pair of earrings or do a costume change. It could be a big or small variation from what you had been wearing during the day, but I love the feeling of that shift – it makes me feel excited.

What are a couple of favourite pieces from your collection and why?

I love the linen Nirvana skirt – such a brilliant and true colour, and the bias cut means that it’s a slim fit shape that can move in and out with your curves.

What’s your favourite colour for clothing this season?

Turquoise.

What was the last item of clothing/ accessory you bought?

A multi-coloured straw hat from a vintage store in LA.

Do you have any New Year resolutions/ goals/plans for the year ahead?

Enjoy it!
