Delays for drivers

The New Zealand Transport Agency is warning drivers to expect delays over Mt Messenger for the next three weeks. The Mt Messenger tunnel on State Highway 3 will have a stop/go system and a 30kmh limit in place from 7am to 7pm from Monday as essential maintenance is completed. NZTA is asking motorists to follow the directions of traffic control staff and not to leave their vehicles while stopped. The work is expected to be finished by February 28.
