$900k granted to region’s organisati­ons by trust

The Taranaki Electricit­y Trust has granted more than $900,000 to organisati­ons around the region in the last three months.

The grants approved by the charitable trust from the start of July to the end of September added up to a total of $900,600 and went to more than 20 organisati­ons. The larger amounts include $300,000 for St John Ambulance Stratford, $99,000 for the Stratford Business associatio­n and $90,000 for the Stratford A and P associatio­n.
