Talented young musicians will perform Friday’s Midday Concert at St Andrew’s Church. First up will be Keynotes Choir. Junior Taupo-nui-a-Tia College singers will perform contempora­ry and glee genres, coached by Liz Ward. Ben Carey’s A Cappella group will harmonise a number of Queen songs. Fergus Byett will perform a Bach prelude and fugue on the organ. Finally, the mature sextet ‘Short and Sweet’ will perform a selection of songs sad, spiritual and even silly.
