Needless to say it made some entertaining reading and by now you may have some questions around what has happened to Taupo¨ .

Let me reassure you that Taupo is still a safe and beautiful place to live.

This time of year is often busy for us as the weather warms up and we all try to counter the heat in our homes and vehicles.

I encourage you to double check that your house and vehicle are secure when you are away from them and that if you see suspicious people or vehicles in and around your neighbourhood, place of work or our tourist carparks and locations to please give us a call on 111 so one of the team can come and take a look.
