Make your own delicious dips
Skip the store-bought ones and try these tasty and simple dips.
Have you got frozen corn or peas hanging around in your freezer? Well next time you’re entertaining, or if you’re just after a scrumptious snack, why not try one of these recipes?
SMOKY CORN DIP
❚ 2 cups frozen corn kernels ❚ 3 tablespoons sour cream ❚ cup parsley leaves and stalks ❚ cup shaved or finely grated parmesan cheese ❚ Juice of lemon ❚ 2 teaspoons chipotle sauce or barbecue sauce
A selection of your favourite sides (like, carrot sticks, pita crisps, corn chips).
Bring a small pot of salted water to the boil.
Cook corn in pot of salted water for 1 minute, then drain and refresh under cold water. Add half the corn to food processor with all remaining dip ingredients and whiz until combined.
Stir through remaining corn and season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve with your favourite sides.
PEA AND MINT DIP
❚ 3 cups frozen peas ❚ 2 tablespoons natural yoghurt ❚ 75g feta cheese ❚ 1 tablespoon mint leaves ❚ 2 teaspoons lemon juice
A selection of your favourite sides (like, carrot sticks, pita crisps, corn chips).

Cook peas in pot of salted water for 1 minute, then drain and refresh under cold water. Drain again.
Add peas to food processor with all remaining dip ingredients and whiz until combined. Season to taste with salt and pepper, and serve with your favourite sides.
