Embacy Models soon to walk the red carpet
It is ‘lights, camera and action’ on the red carpet in Taupo this Saturday as fitness, dance and clothing take centre stage.
The Embacy Fashion & Fitness Expo is the first Expo in New Zealand of its type.
Event organiser and managing director Cindy Winikerei said the show has been in the making for two years.
She said it is a lot of hard work but it continues growing.
The Expo will consist of dozens of local and national businesses from the fashion and fitness Industries, coming together to create a fun and entertaining Expo.
From designer clothing and accessories, beauty, health, fitness and nutrition to dance, music, spot prizes and demo’s, she says it will be a fun-filled day.
There will also be jewellery booths from the likes of JDM jewellery, and national designers ‘Caroline Ngamotu Couture’ will be releasing their first ever ‘designer shoes’ at the Expo- all the way from Italy. ‘‘Embacy Models New Zealand will be leading the runways, Silhouette Fitness will be at the forefront of the fitness extravaganza’’.
Winikerei said that Embacy has been a stepping stone pathway to allow models to expand and grow their confidence, as there is no standard requirement to register.
‘‘I believe if you want to do something and you have that drive, you can achieve it.’’
Winikerei said people often start with the modelling and then cross into dancing or fitness.
In the near future Winikerei plans to expand her brand and business throughout New Zealand in the hope it continues to expand.
‘‘I would love for the expo to be an annual event, whilst Embacy will be branching out to different areas around the country.’’
The Expo will be held this Saturday from 12.30-5.30pm, inside Silhouette Fitness & Embacy Studios at 12A Taniwha Street, above Rebel Sports.
