The $30 million Taupo¯ shopping list

- ROBERT STEVEN

Where is Taupo¯’s $30 million Lotto ticket?

Six nights have passed since a Richmond Superette ticket-buyer became a mulit-millionaire.

However, the lucky winner is yet to make an appearance, as of Thursday morning.

We’ve put together a shopping list of what the First Division winner could buy if they tried to spend $30m in Taupo¯ .

1. Robinson R44 helicopter: $549,000

First up is a helicopter. Take your mates for a spin in this fourseater whirlybird, which has a top speed of 240 kmh. This one’s up on Trade Me. 2. Tesla Model S P100D electric car: $281,000

Zero to 100 in 2.7 seconds. The P100D is Tesla’s most exquisite electric car.

With a 613 kilometre range, you could drive from Taupo¯ to Kaitaia before you’d need to charge it.

An advanced ‘‘self-driving’’ option uses eight cameras and 12 infrared sensors to detect the road lanes and hazards ahead.

So key in your destination and enjoy the (quiet) journey.

Order this one at EV Central on Tongariro St.

3. Seven bedroom property: $4.7m+

If you like luxury, settle in to 41 Mapara Rd, Acacia Bay.

Stretch out in 700 square metres of living space and enjoy the lake view.

Wander into the billiards room, complete with a bar.

Like your own bathroom? No worries - this property has seven.

This mansion last sold in 1995 for $4.7m, but could cost more now.

4. Ramco 760 Hard Top speedboat: $84,990

Big boat with a roaring 250 horsepower engine.

Stay overnight in the spacious cabin, and turn your fishing trips into fishing weekends.

Pick it at Trev Terry Marine for just short of $85k. Spend the change on a wakeboard.

5. Finn MacCuhal’s Irish Pub complex: $11 million

The 3500 sqm brick complex is up for sale, and $11m will get you the pub and nearby rentals.

Of course, you’ll be expected to shout all your mates drinks when they come through Taupo¯ for the rest of your life.

So there’s our list for living it up large in Taupo¯ - and still having $13.4m change.

 ?? ?? Saturday’s $30m Lotto winner could buy a bar, a 7-bedroom house, a helicopter and Tesla S electric car - and still have $13m in change.
