TAUPO¯ RODEO CLUB

Taupo Rodeo Club would like to take this time to thank all sponsors and supporters for their continued generosity towards our rodeo each year.

We would not be able to provide this event to the community without it and the overwhelming support each year is hugely appreciated.

In light of the the continuous generosity and support we receive each year by the Taupo community we too wanted to do our part.

We were able to donate $500 worth of pet food to the SPCA this year and we would like to thank the SPCA for their tireless work within our community.

Taupo Rodeo Club also donated $1000 towards Junior rugby.

This donation will be used towards the purchase of a portacom which will hold sporting equipment and be used as an office throughout the year.

The equipment is used by all Taupo Junior rugby clubs and school teams throughout rugby season.

Honey Bell, the administrator of Taupo Junior Rugby, said that they were really grateful for the donation and extended their support towards Taupo Rodeo Club and rodeo as a sport.

Taupo Rodeo Club are proud to support Junior Rugby and hope that all teams had a safe and successful season.

The Taupo rodeo is fast approaching and we are busy preparing for what we are sure will be another great year.

Thank you again for all the support and we hope to see you all there.

Honey Bell, Taupo¯ Rodeo Club With gorse being such a problem across New Zealand it was fantastic to see the couple removing massive branches and root systems from the Whakaipo Bay area over the weekend.

This will enable greater beach access and enjoyment as previously the gorse has been encroaching to the extent that the beach is unusable.

It’s prickly work, you didn’t have to do it and it will make the beach a whole lot more pleasant for families over summer.

Hopefully a big bonfire is planned so the stuff can go where it belongs – up in smoke! Thank’s so much. Jane
